Pastor’s Greeting

Welcome to Sandpoint United Methodist Church. We are delighted that you are visiting us and hope that you will return again and again.

Our mission and the mission of the United Methodist Church is to “make disciples of Christ for the transformation of the world.” That’s a fancy way of saying that we invite you to share our faith, and that we are convinced that this world we all call home will be a different and better place if we place our trust in Jesus Christ.

We do not claim to have all the answers. In fact, we are a little concerned about those that do. The God that we serve and worship is beyond our understanding and we are on a lifelong journey together to know God better. We invite you to join us on that journey.

“Open hearts, open minds, and open doors” is the United Methodist credo and we are constantly trying to live into that credo as a church family. The Sandpoint United Methodist Church has served Sandpoint for more than 100 years. We stand on the shoulders of those who have gone before and look to a future full of hope and promise for our church and our community.

This website provides a sampling of our ministries and programs.

Grace and Peace to you in the Name of Jesus Christ!

Pastor Stan Norman
